Settings that fit EUR/USDT

  1. 1

    Start on the 1h footprint

EUR/USDT prints about 0.4 trades a second, so a 1h bar holds about 1,500 trades on average and a screen of 15 bars loads in about 18 seconds. Quiet hours hold far fewer, so widen the interval if a bar has only a handful of rows.

  2. 2

Group rows to fit the bar

A typical 1h bar spans about 14 ticks of 0.0001. Group rows until a normal bar shows a handful of readable levels rather than a wall of single ticks or one block.

  3. 3

    Open the heatmap on Fit

Binance's nearest 1,000 levels reach about ±20%, which keeps this span filled at this market's usual pace. If price travels further than the recorded book, the area goes grey rather than showing an empty book.

Reading EUR/USDT’s order flow

EUR/USD is the most traded pair in the world, and this is the busiest euro pair on Binance. It trades around the clock, so you can watch the first reaction to a European Central Bank or Federal Reserve headline, and how the market reopens its position over a weekend when the banks are closed.

USDT is not exactly a dollar. When it drifts from its peg, this price drifts from EUR/USD by the same amount, and that gap can look like euro strength or weakness when it is neither. Compare with a EUR/USD quote before reading a small move as a real one.

Questions

Is the EUR/USDT footprint chart really free?+

Yes. EUR/USDT is an ordinary spot market on Binance, and every crypto-market footprint in Basis is free, with no account, no trial and no card. Open the chart and the bars build from the live trade tape.

Is EUR/USDT the same as EUR/USD?+

No, though they move together. EUR/USDT prices the euro against USDT, a dollar stablecoin, on one exchange, while EUR/USD is the bank market. USDT can drift slightly from a dollar, and the volume here is Binance's own, not the whole market's.

Why is there no real footprint on interbank EUR/USD?+

Because spot forex trades over the counter between banks and brokers, with no central exchange and no public record of every trade. A footprint needs that record. A broker's chart can show its own flow or count quote changes, which is not the same thing.

Does EUR/USDT trade at weekends?+

Yes. Binance spot trades around the clock, every day, so EUR/USDT keeps printing while the bank market is closed. Liquidity is usually thinner then, so read a weekend move with more care than the same move in a busy session.
