Settings that fit TRX
- 1
Footprint interval: 15m
Start on 15m. TRX prints about 4.5 trades a second on Binance, so a fifteen-minute bar holds roughly 4,100 trades and a first screen of 15 bars loads in 51 seconds. For quicker, finer reads, 5m loads in 17 seconds with about 1,400 trades a bar.
- 2
Row grouping
A typical fifteen-minute TRX bar spans about 39 ticks of 0.00001. Leave row grouping on Auto, which merges rows until the figures fit, and raise it if a bar still reads as a wall of single ticks.
- 3
Heatmap: Fit stays filled
Keep the heatmap on Fit. TRX’s nearest 1,000 order-book levels reach about 3.9% from price, 32 times its typical fifteen-minute move of 0.12%, so the recorded book stays wide enough to fill a fifteen-minute view.

Reading TRON’s order flow
TRX frequently trades with lower realised volatility than high-beta alts, so relative strength and stablecoin-settlement narratives matter more than candle size alone.
What to ask of the flow: Is price responding to adoption, transfer narratives, regulation or ordinary crypto beta? Require acceptance around higher-timeframe levels and participation across more than one venue.
The common mistake: Letting a headline candle replace confirmation and a defined invalidation. Apparent stability can encourage oversized positions before an ecosystem or regulatory repricing.
Questions
Is the TRX footprint chart really free?+
Yes. Every crypto footprint in Basis is free, TRX included: no account, no trial and no card. Open the link and Basis builds the TRXUSDT footprint from Binance’s live trade tape, with delta, POC, imbalances, the liquidity heatmap and Time & Sales.
Which TRX market does Basis use for order flow?+
Binance’s TRXUSDT USD-M perpetual, the contract the figures on this page describe. Footprints are built from Binance trades only, so they show trading on Binance rather than on every venue that lists TRX, and no other venue’s chart is filled with Binance trades.
What interval should I use for the TRX footprint?+
Start on 15m. TRX prints about 4.5 trades a second on Binance, so a fifteen-minute bar holds roughly 4,100 trades and a first screen of 15 bars loads in 51 seconds. For quicker, finer reads, 5m loads in 17 seconds with about 1,400 trades a bar.
Why does the TRX heatmap show grey areas?+
Grey is depth that was not recorded, never an empty book. Binance publishes no order-book history, so Basis records the TRXUSDT book from the moment you open it and keeps fifteen minutes. Keep the heatmap on Fit. TRX’s nearest 1,000 order-book levels reach about 3.9% from price, 32 times its typical fifteen-minute move of 0.12%, so the recorded book stays wide enough to fill a fifteen-minute view.
Can I see TRX order flow for other exchanges?+
Not as a footprint. Trade-at-price data in Basis is built from Binance only, and Binance trades are never borrowed to decorate another venue’s chart. Bybit, OKX and Hyperliquid charts in Basis show their own candles and derivatives data instead of a footprint.
