Free footprint chart widget
Let readers look inside the candle.
A screenshot shows your conclusion. A live footprint lets readers explore the trades behind it. Add a free bid × ask chart to your website, lesson or research page—without building a market-data pipeline.
Fills the width of your column at this height.

What the footprint actually measures
The ladder groups executed Binance trades by price. Bid-side volume represents seller-initiated trades; ask-side volume represents buyer-initiated trades. Delta is their difference. Imbalance highlights compare activity across price levels. None of these identifies the trader or guarantees the next price move.
Why a new embed may need a moment
Price candles and the trade tape are separate data loads. Historical trade coverage is bounded and can fill progressively; an ordinary candle is not evidence that every footprint row is already available. Loading and coverage labels matter. The widget does not fabricate missing bid/ask volume from candle direction.
Make the rows readable on your page
Use a full-width article column and a height around 520–640px for detailed study. Footprint intervals run from 1m through 1h. Readers may need to zoom in before row numbers fit; narrow mobile layouts cannot show the same number of price cells as a desktop.
Before you embed
Is the footprint widget free without an API key?
Yes. Public crypto embeds need no Basis account, subscription or API key. Basis branding stays visible. This is not an offer of free stock or commodity footprint access.
Can I embed a Bitcoin or Ethereum footprint chart?
Yes. Choose BTCUSDT or ETHUSDT in the builder, or enter another supported Binance crypto pair. The generated iframe preserves your market, view and interval.
Does a footprint show the full order book?
No. Footprints show executed trades. Resting limit orders are a different dataset; use the order-flow heatmap widget to watch the live book.
