Payments & refunds
How paying for Founders works.
Crypto payments through NOWPayments, checked twice before access opens and never charged automatically. Every step, what we verify, how to pay safely, and our refund policy.

At a glance
Founders is the paid research layer of Basis. The free terminal stays free whether you buy it or not.
- Two plans: Lifetime Founder for $50 once, or 30-day access for $15.
- Payment is in cryptocurrency, processed by NOWPayments, an independent payment provider.
- There is no subscription. Nothing is ever charged automatically.
- Access opens only after your payment has been verified in full.
- Payments are not refundable at this time. Details below.
How a payment works
Five steps, and nothing is charged until the fourth.
- Sign in to your Basis account and open the Founders checkout. The order belongs to that account.
- Press Review payment options. Basis creates an invoice with NOWPayments and sends you to it. Nothing is charged at this point.
- On the NOWPayments page, choose a coin and a network. It shows the exact amount, the network and any fees before you send anything.
- Send the exact amount, on the network shown, before the invoice expires.
- NOWPayments tells Basis when the payment arrives. Basis checks that the notice is genuinely signed by NOWPayments, confirms the payment with NOWPayments directly, and opens your access once the full amount has settled. That is usually a few minutes after the network confirms it.
What each plan includes
Lifetime Founder is one payment of $50. It includes every Founders tool and a numbered Founder badge, with no renewal. Lifetime places are limited to 100. Lifetime means for as long as Basis offers the Founders tools; it belongs to the Basis account that bought it and cannot be transferred.
30-day access is $15 for 30 days, counted from the moment the payment is verified. It includes every Founders tool except the numbered badge. You can buy another 30 days during the final seven days of a term, and any unused days carry forward. If you do nothing, access simply ends and the free terminal remains yours.
Paying safely
A crypto payment cannot be reversed by a bank, so these rules matter more than usual.
- You pay on NOWPayments’ own page. Basis never sees your wallet and never asks for a recovery phrase, private key or password.
- Basis sends NOWPayments only the order number, the price and the product. Your email, name and account details are not shared with it.
- Always start a payment from the checkout on basischarts.com. Basis will never ask you to send crypto to an address in an email, a message or a chat.
- Payment notices are checked twice, by signature and with NOWPayments directly, before anything opens. A forged or incomplete notice opens nothing.
- Checkout pages and payment notices travel over encrypted connections only.
Getting the amount right
Most failed payments come down to one of these.
- Each coin has a minimum payment set by its network. A coin whose minimum is above the plan price cannot be used, and the checkout page tells you which ones that is right now.
- Low-fee choices such as USDT on BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20), Tron (TRC-20) or Solana usually confirm within minutes.
- Send on the network shown on the invoice. Crypto sent on a different network may not be recoverable.
- Paying from an exchange? Add its withdrawal fee so the full amount arrives. A payment that arrives short is reviewed by hand before access opens.
- Network and provider fees are shown on the invoice and paid by the sender.
Refunds
Founders payments are not refundable at this time. Access opens as soon as a payment is verified, so please take your time first: use the free terminal, read the Founders page, and ask us anything before you buy.
Mistakes on our side are always put right. If you are charged twice, or a lifetime payment arrives after the last place has been taken, we will contact you and resolve it, either by applying the payment to your access or by returning it.
Nothing on this page limits any right you have under consumer law in your country that cannot be excluded.
If something goes wrong
If you have sent a payment but access has not opened, do not pay again. Some networks take longer to confirm, and the checkout page shows the current status of your payment.
If an invoice expired before you paid, start a new one from the checkout. If you had already sent funds to an expired invoice, contact us before paying again so the first payment can be matched to your order.
For anything else, write to ops@basischarts.com with the email address of your Basis account, or message us on Telegram from the support menu. We answer payment questions first.
Records
Basis keeps a record of each order: the account, the price, its status, the invoice and payment identifiers NOWPayments assigns, and the times it was created, updated and paid. Records are kept for as long as accounting, tax and dispute resolution require. The privacy policy explains this in full.
