Choose the source
Select price, indicator, drawing or multi-condition logic.

Crossing, crossing up/down, greater/less than and range conditions describe different events.

Choose evaluation timing
Use bar-close evaluation when intrabar noise should not trigger the rule.

Name the invalidation
An alert title should state what happened and why it matters.

Enable delivery
Browser and push notifications require explicit permission; the agent cannot grant it for you.
Alert on the lines you draw (Founders)
Select a drawing and press the bell on its toolbar. The alert watches the part you choose, at the price the chart draws it, and follows the drawing when you move it. Price can cross it, touch it, reject from it, come within a distance of it, or enter, leave and break out of a zone. Wicks can count or not, a break can be required to hold for several closes, and finished bars can be the only ones judged.

Get alerts on Telegram (Founders)

Connect your Telegram chat
In Alerts, under Telegram alerts, press Connect. Open Telegram and press Start in the Basis bot to securely link your chat.

Turn your analysis into an alert
Set a condition on a trend line, fib level or zone you drew, or use the other alert conditions. Choose Telegram under Delivery. Saving arms the alert on the server, so it is checked with Basis closed.

Test it
Send a test from the same place to check it arrives. Fired alerts include what matched and a link back to the chart.

Stop it any time
Turn off Telegram for an individual alert, press Disconnect in delivery settings, or send /stop to the bot to unlink the chat.
Drawing presets, timing and sound (Founders)

Start with a preset, then refine
Drawing conditions offer presets suited to the selected line, zone or time marker. Open Fine-tune timing & confirmation to adjust them. Two or more confirmation bars always mean completed candles; a forming candle does not count. ALL conditions use the same completed candle when any drawing condition requires a close. ANY conditions retain their own timing.

Follow edits or pin anchors
Follow drawing edits is on by default. Moving the original drawing in Basis updates the saved alert after the edit settles and syncs. Turn it off to retain the saved anchors. Sloped lines still project from those anchors over time; pinning does not turn them into horizontal levels. If the original drawing is unavailable, the alert keeps its saved geometry.

Review before arming
Check the condition summary, market, timeframe and repeat policy before saving. An alert with drawing conditions keeps its original symbol and venue so another market cannot accidentally inherit those price anchors. Up to 12 conditions can be combined.

Choose your browser sound
Turn on Sound under Delivery, choose one of nine tones and set this alert’s volume. Press Preview & enable audio to hear it and allow this tab to play alerts. A Basis tab must remain open and browser audio must be allowed. Muting the tab or setting volume to zero silences it. This does not change Telegram or operating-system notification sounds.
Schedule recurring agent research
Scheduled tasks run read-only research with Basis closed and preserve an auditable run history. They can use technicals, derivatives, news, calendar and supported whale context. They cannot place orders, mutate the chart, read private journal content or use your browser-only model key.

Tell the task what difference deserves a new conclusion.

Review the first run
Confirm coverage, timestamps and caveats before relying on future runs.
Automation needs explicit failure states
- A missed run must remain visible as missed, not as “no signal.”
- Stale data should lower confidence and appear in the result.
- Notification delivery is separate from task execution; inspect run history.
- Pause schedules that no longer map to an active decision.
- Do not create multiple overlapping tasks that repeat the same expensive research.
