Start analyzing crypto markets with Basis
Open a live crypto chart, choose a market, add indicators and complete your first structured analysis in Basis.
Open the terminal — no account required
Open the terminal and Basis loads a live market immediately. Public charts, indicators, derivatives, order flow and the screener do not require an account. Sign in only when you want saved workspaces, drawings, alerts, journal entries and cloud synchronization.
The instrument selector controls the symbol, venue and market type. Spot and perpetual futures are separate markets, so always confirm the PERP or SPOT badge before interpreting funding, open interest or liquidation data.
- 01
Choose a symbol
Use the symbol search at the top of the terminal. Search BTC, ETH or a full pair such as SOLUSDT.
- 02
Choose the market
Select spot for unleveraged exchange trading or perpetual for funding, positioning and derivatives context.
- 03
Set the timeframe
Use 4h and 1h for structure, then 15m or 5m for a day-trade trigger. One-second bars are available only where trade coverage supports them.
- 04
Save only when useful
Create a free account when you want this layout and its annotations to follow you across devices.
Run your first structured analysis
- 01
Define the question
Ask one falsifiable question, such as “Is this breakout supported by participation?” Avoid starting with a desired direction.
- 02
Read structure first
Mark the range, prior swing points, trend state and invalidation level before adding indicators.
- 03
Add confirmation
Use volume, volatility and one momentum or trend study. More indicators do not create more independent evidence.
- 04
Check leverage
For perpetual markets, compare price with funding, open-interest change, taker flow and liquidations.
- 05
Plan the risk
Open Risk, enter account size and allowed loss, then place entry, stop and target on the chart.
Practical tip
A useful Basis workflow ends with an invalidation condition. If you cannot state what proves the idea wrong, the analysis is incomplete.
